Our club was formed in 1998, when 2 local teams – Clonard Celtic FC and Balscadden Blue’s FC, amalgamated to form Balbriggan FC. The reason was to consolidate a playing path for local people from nursery to senior level within the same club. Our club is governed by a written constitution, implemented by our Executive Committee, which is elected annually at our AGM.

We pride ourselves on being a community based club and we try to accommodate every child that wants to play football. This year we started 5 new teams and expect to start 3/5 new teams each year in the next 5 years. If you or your son/daughter would like to play with Balbriggan F.C., please contact us.

We have a selection of Schoolboy and Schoolgirl teams, two Senior Mens team, a senior ladies team and a successful Sunday Soccer Nursery which accommodates boys and girls aged 4-7. Our teams play in the NDSL, MGL, LSL and the DWSL.

Balbriggan F.C. teams play in a red shirt with green shorts and red socks. Our official manufacturing partner is Proteam Sports and as such, no other manufacturer should be used with the permission of the club committee.

All of our coaches are Garda Vetted and have attended Child Protection Awareness training in the past six months. Additionally, we have two nominated Child Protection Officers who can be contacted with any concerns. Their details are accessible on our club committee page.
