Founded in 1998 through the merger of Clonard Celtic FC and Balscadden Blues FC, Balbriggan FC was established to create a unified player pathway from nursery to senior football. The club operates under a written constitution and is governed by an Executive Committee elected annually at our AGM

As a community-first club, our goal is to ensure every child who wants to play football has the opportunity to do so. We field Schoolboy and Schoolgirl teams, Senior Men’s teams, a Senior Women’s team, and a thriving Sunday Soccer Nursery for children aged 4–7. Our teams compete across the DDSL, LSL, and DWSL.

Balbriggan FC teams proudly wear red shirts, green shorts, and red socks.

The safety and welfare of our players are paramount. All club coaches are Garda vetted and have completed Child Welfare & Protection training within the last six months.
