Balbriggan F.C’s ever popular Sunday Soccer Nursery returns for the 2017 season on Sunday March 26th.
Balbriggan F.C. is one of the town’s biggest sporting clubs accommodating all ages and abilities. The club runs a very successful football nursery every Sunday morning in Tara Count Green, opposite the graveyard at the junction of Harry Reynolds and Chapel Street. This is where 4-7 year old boys and girls are introduced to the beautiful game in a fun filled way, and progress onto our under 8 teams when ready.
The nursery runs every Sunday up until November (weather permitting) from 11am to 12:15. We ask that all players bring suitable footwear, clothing for all weather types, shinguards and a bottle of water.
The emphasis is on basic football skills taught through fun filled games by FAI qualified coaches. The nursery is very casual and newcomers are welcome every week. Whether your son or daughter has never kicked a ball before, or is the next Robbie Keane or Stephanie Roche, all are welcome to take part and join in the fun!
There is no need to register in advance but we do ask that you arrive 15 minutes beforehand on the first morning to give us time to register your son/daughter. We ask that you do not park in any adjacent housing estates and instead either walk or take advantage of the large car parks in Millfield Shopping Centre.
